Tech Alumni Compete at Yellow Jacket Invitational
Tech Alumni Derrick Adkins and Lynn Houston competed this past Saturday at Georgia Tech's Yellow Jacket Invitational. Derrick won the 400-meter hurdles and Lynn finished second in the high jump. Beth Old Finishes Fifth at US Women's Marathon
Championships
Competing on the Women's Marathon Trials course with approximately 50 other women in temperatures near 40 degrees with 25 mph wind gusts, Beth finished 5th in a time of 2:41:54. Check out Cool Running for the story on the race. 4/7/03
